everyone's a critic

I don't do spoken word I
perform a living sentence I'm
a pro noun taming verbs and
the pretentious
miss the premise

don't
see

poetry's a gift
which opens people
up like presents well
of course this caged bird
sings his song's
protesting
each bars' presence us
wild flowers bloom
regardless of
a garden's
fences

and
when

the sun
declines
(to shine) the night
de-lights all
of our senses
